Service Areas

Support from the Bernardine Franciscan Sisters Foundation, Inc. is available to 501(c)(3) agencies which address the healthcare, education and human service needs of people in the following Virginia cities and counties: Newport News, Hampton, Poquoson, Gloucester and York.

The Bernardine Sisters of the Third Order of Saint Francis receive funds to support the ministerial work which preserves and furthers the congregation’s tradition, mission and charism.
